I’m an American-born Gujarati pandit who is here to serve the needs of the Indian diaspora with future generations in mind.

Were you born or raised outside of India? Perhaps you never had the opportunity to learn any of the Indian languages your parents or grandparents spoke. Maybe you have an interfaith family or household. Having been born and raised in American myself, I’ve often felt that I have one foot in either country – and often in two different epochs.

Hinduism is a way of life, and it comes with a lot of tribal knowledge – wisdom that passed amongst insiders. I was lucky enough to study with accomplished teachers, my own grandparents and clan (kula), and to experience Hinduism esoterically. Now, I feel I can be of service to others in the diaspora, many of whom have undergone significant challenges of their own. If you’re interested in connecting with your background or learning about Hinduism, let me point the way.

I’m happy to perform weddings (with graha shaanti), baby showers, upanayanam/initiation, and other pujas for you, a loved one, or your family and friends. English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Sanskrit are not an issue. My focus is on the meaning of the steps and their significance, so you walk away changed by the worship and the tradition.

I’m also fairly progressive compared to many of my peers. If you’re against kanyadaan, you want a mundan for your daughter, or you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community, you can trust me to adapt things for your needs.
